Centar za humanističke studije je organizacija civilnog društva, posvećena razvoju i osavremenjivanju naučnog istaživanja u društvenim naukama i humanistici u Srbiji. CHS nastoji da doprinese razvoju akademske kulture u Srbiji i društva u celini, kroz naučno istraživanje, edukaciju, promociju i popularizaciju društvenih i humanističkih nauka. U svojoj delatnosti CHS zastupa naučni pristup aktuelnim društvenim problemima i racionalnu debatu u javnoj sferi.
CHS sarađuje sa akademskim institucijama, stručnim udruženjima i drugim organizacijama u zemlji i inostranstvu. Aktivnosti CHS-a namenjene su učenicima, studentima i postdiplomcima, najpre iz oblasti društvenih i humanističkih nauka, stručnoj i naučnoj javnosti, novinarima i aktivistima, i široj zainteresovanoj javnosti. Kroz svoje aktivnosti, CHS se zalaže za ukidanje svih oblika diskriminacije na osnovu identiteta, ličnih i društvenih svojstava, i za jednakost pristupa obrazovanju i društvenim resursima, u skladu sa progresivnim i demokratskim vrednostima.
About us
Center for Studies in Humanities is a non-profit organization dedicated to development and modernization of the state of scientific research in social sciences and humanities in Serbia. CSH aims to contribute to improvement of academic culture and Serbian society in general, through scientific research, education, promotion and popularization of social sciences and humanities. CSH advocates scientific approach to relevant social problems and rational debate in the public sphere.
CSH cooperates with academic institutions, professional associations, and other organizations in the country and abroad. The activities of CSH are intended for students and postgraduates, mainly within fields of social sciences and humanities, for specialist and scientific public, journalists and activists, and wider interested public. In its activities, CSH promotes abolition of all forms of discrimination, based on identity, personal or social characteristics, and equal access to education and social resources, in accordance with progressive and democratic values.
